2 phones are still broken in the Booking Area at Las Colinas Detention Facility in Santee. Now the 3rd phone and only working phone for the past few weeks is broken. Can barely hear Arrestees. Please replace the phones. @SDSheriff

A deputy checked the phones in the booking area and everything is working. The deputy will check again tomorrow to ensure there are no issues.

They can call out but we can’t hear anything. SILENCE. Women are in 3G - housed because they couldn’t make free calls in the Booking Area. Not sure how the Deputies can confirm they’re working. Please fix the phones.

Saturday I bailed a woman out that sat in the Booking Area 13 hrs before a family member contacted me from the outside. Arrestee stated her booking number and pin didn’t work with phones. She was unable to call anyone. She was finally released on bond after 17 hrs in custody.
