Please write down phone numbers on your hand or a piece of paper. Jails take your cell phone and seal it in your property bag. If you can’t Bail out of jail it will be 4-6 days before you’re Arraigned. Be safe. Don’t drive impaired.https://youtu.be/uxQSd9Yf86Q

Since this story aired 10 yrs ago the jail phones can call cell phone numbers in the same area code at no charge. Landlines are almost extinct. Best advice—-don’t drive impaired so you won’t find yourself stuck in jail over Memorial Day weekend.
