I am having to look at horses beyond my current budget. I need your help to get to Tokyo2020. Even though Harry is turning a corner, a second horse would really increase my chances of winning more gold medals for GB. You can join or donate

“The rubbish was taken off the train before me” I told how often I get left stranded on trains, why I think GWR’s new chaperone scheme is “infantilising”, and why I am campaigning for .

  4. I've been to 2 restaurants in the last couple weeks which have hidden entrances. I've wheeled past them for years not knowing. If you are accessible SHOUT ABOUT IT! 😊 Have a sign, update Google information and your website.

Yet another breakdown in travel assistance communication so I resorted to blocking the door from closing so the guard couldn't shut the train down upon terminating. Note to self, find alternative method as that hurts.

Ever wondered what it feels like to be trapped on a train, unable to get off? Here is a video from my Point Of View, as it happened to me *again* just now. This is why I fight for level boarding. I can’t rely on staff to meet me with a ramp. Because they don’t.

  11. Lots of food for thought from 's talk at . Disabled employees definitely promote cognitive diversity as we have to think differently in a world that isn't made for us. Growth mindsets make it difficult to accept anything less than a normal life!

I had to get the tube across London to watch today and, wow, London must be such a great city to be in if you aren’t disabled and don’t have the transport-anxiety related to only being able to get around 20% of the city-region by yourself.

I did my first ‘ordinary’ Delay Repay claim last week. The contrast between the ease of doing it (online form and vouchers delivered two days later) and any of the access related complaints I have raised (emails ignored, weeks waiting, no answers, patronised) was marked.

I’m watching my train leave in 5 mins and I’m not on it because I apparently didn’t arrive early enough for staff to get the ramp. I’m late because the bus I was on let everyone (20+ people -full bus) off before deploying the ramp for me. Everyone on that bus made their train.
