Those shops always seem empty anyway and we don't use them. So many malls and streets are filled with those useless brands I'll be happy to see them go!

Fact is, their own clock is ticking because of the emerging recession in China. The USD supply is tight which caused a lot of P2P went bankrupt. It's effect is cascading to the downstream part of the economy. CCP can print everything except USD, which HK happens to have some.
