All people have the right to protect themselves with deadly force if their lives are being threatened! Why should it be any different with Hong Kong police?

Are u asking the one with right position to say so? Lam Chi-wah is just head of those officers association, not the commissioner of police, Stephen Lo. Police is one of the disciplinary force. It seems like they completely lacked discipline

Just to clarify. Actually carrying lethal firearm for anti-riot police is not common worldwide. There are high risk for guns captured by protesters. HK police strangely do not adherence to international standard. Wonder if they want some tragedy to happen...

Yup. When a firearm is taken, it will be retaliated with the same amount of force. And don't blame the police for carrying firearms that tempted them to take it away. Its just infantile.

That incident was staged to pave way for this excuse to shoot protesters, take another look at the clips of said incident.

In China police don't carry guns because people don't have guns. Maybe hkg police shouldn't carry gun. Especially those police speak only Mandarin.
