There are increasingly no warning shots from the police. We want to be peaceful as well, but the fact is, autonomy of Hong Kong is corroding. Gov is not listening to its people. Gov is not acting in citizens best interest. Do not mislead the world by blaming the protestors!

Dear Mr Lhatoo, You have tried your best to objectively comment the protest and clarify rumours against cops. But you fail. I do not see you condemn police brutality on press freedom. You merely focused on the surface of vandalism yet deliberately avoid discussing its cause.

And multiple warnings before firing tear gas? Really? Have you been watching the news Yonden? Or just hiding behind your smartphone screen reading articles written by other propagandists? Skip to 1:46 or watch the whole thing if you like:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fA3Zhr6JTE …

It's always funny to watch how people condemn protesters for physically damage the facilities, making it sounds like they are doing this for fun. Yeah, it may not be right. But please tell me, why are the youngsters risking their future to protest?

#SCMP how low can you go? "Educated people actually believe this drivel". OK, and talking about booming business? You mean the parallel traders in Sheung Shui? And always angry? Yes, because of videos like these that point the finger at the people and not the perps: the HK GOVT.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

All you care is your own “peace”. What you could only see is the “shiny”upper-class people and grand buildings. This is not Hong Kong. Hong Kong is not about how posh things are. HK is about living with freedom and justice. Sadly you chose to ignore the fundamental values of HK.

They always emphasize the importance of "peace". I just don't understand why hasn't any cities in China replaced Hong Kong. They have no protests, no chaos. Oops, sorry they have no right to do so. (even if they do, it will still be covered up and people won't know.)
