there is an assumption here that the US 1.2 Trillion role of HK can be "moved" in the first place. Every transaction needs two sides and we need to consider the rest of the world may no longer wish to be on the other side of China's business.

It's already begun. By 2047, there will be little or no commercial or banking activities in Hong Kong. But there will be something else.

I am so infuriated. I got Western education on elementary school. Police should be protect the residents and their property. But now what's real is that police avoid the First-aider to do life-saving procedure. Police forcibly move a young man with neck injury. What's wrong?

I think most of Hong Kong police force are mainland Chinese. Normally, if you are born and raise in a society that taught you to respect rule of law and human rights, it’s doesn't escalate to this.

#HongKongprotesters would just want HK to be the free and safe city it used to be. Independent investigation of#policebrutality and universal suffrage are the startThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Ironically, the violent rioters are destroying Hong Kong by themselves, and inconveniencing other Hong Kongers. And if they succeed, they'll be left with a garbage city that is no longer an international financial center, and a city no longer worth fighting for.

PRC idiots still think their cities could substitute HK anytime lol. Let's see how the financial zone in Shanghai goes. If they can't figure out the root factors of the success of HK, they can never make a copy.

Today Carrie Lam said the future of our young generation rest in China not Hong Kong. Sounds like HK has no future soon.
