That looks like more than a "handful". The other "side" should bring their numbers out and show their solidarity. So far the only other side to show up were hired gangsters. Democracy is inconvenient, you have to show up and be counted. These protesters know how it's done.

I’m not sure what this will solve. Seems like it’s just creating chaos and inconvenience. It’s gonna deter tourists from visiting, eventually it’s HK people who will lose. And if the govt asks for help from PRC, all is lost. The young people are idealistic; compromise perhaps?
