        didn't the communist party try to destroy stuff because it reflected old culture? perhaps part of the reason taiwan took some things was to protect the culture. now the communists are big protectors of old art and culture. hmmmm

        The story continued with the KMT shipping the treasures to Taiwan. Smart move as Mao and rest of the Communist promoted destruction of these historical artifacts during the Cultural Revolution. Keep the treasures in Taiwan, safe from Xi and his thugs.
