This is a very powerful national anthem. China was almost crushed into pieces by the Japanese. The people has to rise up and be counted. The Hong Kong people must also feel that way.

hong kong's days are so numbered. the bit of freedom and independence from the fascism of china are already well in place. very sad to think i soon won't be able to go to my father's birthplace without fear.

I’m not so concerned (but also not totally at ease) with celebrities shown singing Nat anthem, esp for a significant anniversary/event. I’m more concerned about an athlete being vilified & blackballed for protesting unequal treatment by police in “the land of the free”.
