    Interesting report that White House rumored contenders to replace Mattis include ex General Jack Keane. Woodward book says on p 62 Trump first talked to Keane about the job a week after the election ("you're my number one guy"), he turned it down, recommended Mattis

    What’s weird is that this is what a mafia boss would try and do behind scenes. With Trump, his disregard for law and the Constitution and his manipulation of justice and the media is all out in the open. He’s flamboyant about it.

    Even for a president who has crossed all sorts of lines, his tweet calling for criminal prosecutions to be based on their impact on GOP election chances broke new ground.
