We ran a video contest for hype trailers in 2015, was pretty succesful. Lots of entries but yea its just a loss of money
I would love to see something like it, lots of stuff possible in the map editor. I think Valves tools are much more accessible tho

Can't you port over models to the valve editor if I recall? I could be wrong but I see it used for editing lots of other stuff.

Yea I would love to see that. All of these DotA 2 videos really make me want to play DotA 2 again for the first time in ages.
