Its good for 2 pc setups and capturing consoles etc. Would not recommend really for a single one. CPU upgrades are far better value.
Is an elgato a good investment? My pc is decent but wouldnt be able to record SC2 in 1080p60fps 40mb, with card maybe?

Having alot more cores helps AMD 1600 6 Core 12 Threads or 1700 8 Cores 16 Threads!!!
