I think shaking up the game boosts casual interest, viewership and everything for SC2. Of course balance is a big issue, but it changes the skillset necessary making flexibility/adaptability more important.

Dota has such a huge player-boost after every patch, would love to see the same for Starcraft. Will add to the longevity of the game. I understand it might lose some of its "pureness". But if it actually works, Blizzard might consider putting more resources back into sc2
