It'll have to grow a lot more and a lot faster for Blizzard to start investing more.

compared to OWL it isnt even that far off, at least last year. In addition OWL doesnt seem to be growing + getting far far more investment

I mean OWL gets almost 100000 viewers even for bad games. They just grew to 20 teams. The investment from outside corps into OWL is huge and the player base is double that of sc2. As much as I hate to admit it sc2 and Overwatch are not even close right now.
