Is there such a thing as capped apm ? I have discussed with an gaming AI researcher, He told me that He can't cap apm because the AI need it to do basic thing such as making the probe collect mineral.
Cant wait to see AlphaGo vs AlphaGo with uncapped apm, the micro will be off the charts?

You can always cap the APM, but it will make the AI discard the less valuable actions, which will over time completely change the overall behavior. Also you need to train the AI for this scenario specifically, or it'll suck.
