Should WCS ro8 be doubleelim? There's enough time for in on schedule

Currently we have: 30 min opening (all other esports have 15) - 4x1.5hr + 2hrs for BW showmatch = 8 hours. Switch to bo3, 1hr each match and get much more content. Second day SC2 esports is only 5:30 hrs. In total WCS is taking up 6 + 5:30 = 11.5 hours.

As I said, the broadcast could definitely be longer but double elim is VERY ambitious. You’re suggesting something that doubles the length & even the other stages don’t go to that length as you pointed out.

With a bit of optimisation that'd work imo. Possibly skip a few of the lower bracket games or run them at the same time. Not like this is completely impossible ^^
