Yeah if it's Italian or French it's cultured, if it's Asian, oh speak english! Smell the racism...

Exactly what I said. Are they going to target latin based languages too? Let's see French and Italian restuarants should be told to fork out money to change their signs? Ridiculous.

I m a migrant. I agree, true migrant came to Australia because they appreciate Australia uniqueness and we wish to integrate naturally. A nation polarised by language differences is a recipe for polarised disaster.

if a migrant is living in Australia, works, pays taxes, sends their kids to school follows laws (which is pretty hard not to do as, like everyone else you'll end up in trouble)they can't but be integrated.

Geographical concentration of migrants is linked to poor integration with the broader Australian society.

And just what is "the broader Australian society" ? Footy? Meat pies ? Beer guzzling? What exactly is it?

This is where the problem is! Not knowing the meaning of “broader society” within where you live is a clear indication of poor integration. What’s the point of accepting people to Australia if they want to live their lives as if they had never left the land of their birth.

Obviously Australia has got its migration policy wrong. Anyone coming into this country should read, write and speak english. This is an english speaking country.

It's not controversial at all! That's the way to go.. It's called "integration".
