I just read an anecdote@by a woman who ..accidentally ate 100 mg tHC instead of 10. She basically said she “chose” to relax & experience it rather than freak out (my words). Nice for her, right?

So, you're presenting two problems: 1) people who don't secure their active chemicals from their children, and 2) uneducated health professionals tying up the poison control line over something not threatening. Shame on you for tying this to cannabis use.

Unfortunately, a big part of the push for legalization has been messaging that exaggerates therapeutic use or just downright lies that it’s a panacea. It’s also a good marketing tactic.

Seeing more and more parents being told by healthcare professionals and also Facebook parenting groups to use cannabis (in like edible/oil form) for morning sickness.

Ingesting too much table salt can cause detrimental health effects, too. This feels morally-charged...

Have you seen many table salt ingestions putting toddlers in the hospital? Morality has nothing to do with this. I’m not against marijuana, I promote responsible use and storage no different than with many other drugs. Unfortunately, many people think marijuana is harmless.

It's fun to talk about cannabis enteritis, cannabis' role in ischemic stroke, infarc, and the possible component causation in psychoses: mostly because it lays bare the apologetics to which defenders are willing to go to defend it from evidence of harms.
