I'd say same for corporations who complain about free open-source software/libraries etc while never donating but earning millions
But.... Will Twitter stop data mining & showing adds if we own a blue checkmark?

hm yeah good question how much would someone have to pay per month to get out of all other monetization/have their data be private/not see any ads?
Doing this would break their model. Twitter already pulls in some $5 bil annual revenue. That number is already rapidly decreasing, but Musk bought/leveraged at a price that requires him to *increase* it.
Without selling user data, Twitter becomes a money pit.
God, people are really reading into this. Alameda has a billions of USD NAV.
