Economic Freedom on peer to peer is the only way that we have a free society. The second I can't perform private commerce, we're two steps away from British soldiers being sequestered in our homes.

Also, it would be nice if every node operator in the world didn't also learn your location while you were buying that bagel. End to end encryption is a must for payments in the 21st century. It's the only way to protect yourself from predatory corporations and criminals.
