the CFTC knows their stuff, but is really thorough
You have bigger problems than trading futures, like living in NY.

Quantity is always better than quality when it comes to impressing regulators.
Typically the CFTC print and then weigh applications and only proceed if the submission is over 1.7 kg to filter out anyone who isn't taking it seriously.
