Is cat trading on some exclusive VIP ftx subdomain? Frontrunning might be speculation, but there's no doubt about the lag/latency. When i market order on ftx, I have enough time to brew some tea, take the dog for a walk, buy some groceries, and then my order gets filled.

you want to search for "Ftx lag" or read the replies of any post discussing the same, and then ask for a video from all 1k+ people too?

it's hard, form words alone, to debug--best guess is that it's browser lag but to figure out for sure we'll need to be able to line up e.g. orderbook state at the time the button was clicked

We've come full circle to the your browser is not browser part again It's not just the trading engine, just UI related stuff like loading wallet balances, chart updates, order updates, etc. ideally the ftx stack becomes more browser compatible instead of chrome rewriting code

hey guys sorry I'm trying to help here--I really do want the experience to be better, and sending an example of things happening would be super helpful for us debugging! otherwise we'll just try to guess at what people are seeing.

The browser lags because the frontend makes an excessive amount of requests, many redundant or completely unnecessary. These bunch up if the browser gets blocked. Charts are updated by repeatedly sending GET requests instead of having a WS channel. twitter.com/PenguinsTradin
