E.g. no plans to 3x FTX employees any time soon--1k is something more of a "medium term cap"; expecting more like ~50-100% annual growth of # employees.
Also deals about potential raise are wrong in many ways.

er "in the cards" is a bit too optimistic I think, more like "above that is not particularly in the cards, likely will be less than that"
re: raise: the quoted raise specs were never something we were considering, and we haven't 'decided against' anything we *were* considering.

was never considering a raise with the specs in the article; to the extent there are *other* plans/specs we *have been* considering, we still are considering them/haven't discarded any ideas.
