To be clear I also said that it _does_ have potential as a store of value. The BTC network can't sustain thousands/millions of TPS, although BTC can be xfered on lightning/L2s/etc.

honestly? It's a big mouthful to repeat the whole set of ways that BTC can be transferred each time I'm asked the question, and I'm asked it a *lot*; some of the sentences I say won't include the word "lightning".

eh? It's easy: "...and lightning was designed to make moving bitcoin for every day transactions fast."

yeah so I do usually say something about lightning in these interviews--the problem is that, in the *same interview*, I end up saying something like 12 different sentences, and to avoid them being able to quote me out of context I'd need to say it 12 times

Why responding/giving them an interview tho if you know how it's gonna end up? Some football players from Spanish clubs already ignore media due this things and participate in podcasts and interviews from streamers or youtubers where the enviorment is way more friendly

Well, it's the job of reporters to quote you out of context as they do with politicians & direct the story in their own direction & in this case spread fud & fear.
