9) As far as I can tell, they don't actually say how large the effect was after controlling for confounding variables. They just clarify that it's still statistically significant--it could be massive, or it could be essentially 0. They don't report it!

They’ve followed the statistical method used by every college kid to get the desired results on their undergrad thesis.

The beta coefficient tells you how large the effect size is. You listed it in your previous post. It’s a standardized effect size estimate. The p-value just tells you whether the effect is “statistically significant” or not.
