Right now, most crypto quarterly futures expire on different days than traditional futures.
E.g. crypto expires 12/31 but CME expires 12/21.
Which should we line FTX expirations up with?

First of all CME BTC expires 12/31 this year which is a Friday
The question really is do you want futures that expire the last Friday of the month or the last day of the month?

No but traditional has to expire on a weekday for obvious reasons (not open on weekends). Crypto does not. But do institutions IN crypto want to have a statement with expiry marked on a Sunday for example? Probably doesn’t matter but it’s an interesting question.
