We'll update our disclaimers to be more expansive, but obviously if you try to deposit a token FTX doesn't support, we might not be able to recover it; and if we can, doing so can be messy and expensive.

Can you please explain why its so hard to recover an erc20 token from one of your ethereum wallets which you guys would 100% have the private keys for? besides time i dont see why it would cost millions to do that unless you personally did it yourself
