Strictly speaking, the consent amendment could be reintroduced prior to voting tomorrow, IIRC.

Thanks Sam. I was able to grab and he briefed the go between.
Apparently Shelby is for the amendment but is serious about getting more $ for defense. So they are working on that right now. Politics is crazy, especially at the last moment.
Fingers crossed.
