to be clear this isn't referring to payment processors! I totally understand the KYC obligations there. This is referring to blockchain miners/stakers/etc.

In order to a run a blockchain you need validators/nodes. It is impossible to run the blockchain without them. The onus for KYC should be on-ramps and off-ramps, not the validators/nodes themselves.

(AKA I'm in agreement with Sam). @dsquarredigest I highly recommend doing some research on the importance of validators/nodes (aka miners/stakers). Protocols are not designed to provide KYC information to miners/stakers whatsoever.
