FWIW I have the opposite take: the right move is paying the price (of higher pay). Productivity sometimes increases *massively* with closer communication!

I really think the desire of CEOs at JPM and Morgan Stanley to keep workers in office will inadvertently help crypto firms who are more flexible and hungry for talent. The moves to pay analysts another 5-10k is so pathetic and not gonna work

💯, after 1.5 years of remote work and having to lead a team in remote environment, in person collaboration is 100% under rated. There's something about water cooler chats, whiteboard meetings, and taking a break for lunch with your coworkers that can't be replicated by remote.

People want to be valued as employees it’s intrinsic in human nature. Money incentive is not always enough for employees. People want to believe they will be doing more than just making money. Simon Sinek mentions how people want to be valued and feel they offer value as well
