8) The average leverage used on FTX is ~2x.
And while we think that many of the arguments are high leverage miss the mark, we also don't think it's an important part of the crypto ecosystem, and in some cases it's not a healthy part of it.

Responsible take guys, other exchanges can learn from this, there is a reason why itโs not allowed on normal markets, big up for you taking up responsibility versus greed.
perhaps label more clearly when people are near liquidation on spot positions too. It is not intuitive and not to the same standards as other exchanges.

I really donโt get how you can be near liquidation on a spot position - whatโs the deal?

"The average leverage used on FTX is ~2x" - is this calculated across all traders or across all traders who use leverage?
Irony is that doesn't even provide the option of 2x leverage but still the average leverage is 2X๐คฃ

And I wonder if 2X leverage is not in the option to choose then how the average comes down to 2x? Are majority of people out there shorting/longing with 1X? And if that's going on then I wonder why?๐คฃ Just simply do spot.
