mostly think both are decently safe
USDT has better secondary market liquidity, USDC has better primary market liquidity
in the end a lot comes down to whether you're worried about 1%, 10%, or 90% crashes

Weird. I don’t see an option on the site or any markets. Nothing even comes up when searching in the markets search bar for USDC.

yeah. there are no discrete markets for USDC. It's just considered USD.

Ok well I see no way to transact via the website so the question should be when USDC markets but I doubt doubt there will be options soon. hope so

There's no need for USDC markets. USDC deposits count towards your USD balance so you just trade the USD markets as normal.

USDC = USD on FTX
deposit either, trade either
e.g. deposit USDC --> buy BTC/USD
Thanks. Took a closer look & yes I can deposit USDC to FTX.US then it converts it into USD. Unfortunately there is no USDC wallet on site which means less ability to transact. Can’t sell an asset for USDC. I plan to start fully avoiding USDT asap. Sucks.

No need to ever sell for USDC. You just sell for USD and then withdraw USDC. It's really much more elegant than having USDC pairs which are never as liquid.
