It’s obvious that people are using eth and enough power users and long tail of users prefer eth to centralized options despite the cost and flaws just like btc. There are no moats though.

I haven't seen a dag deployed anywhere near tds.solanabeach.io/validators
min set to get to 33% is > 490. let alone 10x better over any parameter.

Same. if someone had anything live with a 10x improvement over any parameter, the engineer in me would rip out whatever is necessary and replace it asap.

My guess for global average is $500/month. If you put in some work you can find a local DC that will give you a deal.
If you fools had any idea how big this space is going to be you wouldn’t concern yourself with the inventor’ plans for a moat. Not a zero sum game. Invent something valuable, change the world, make money.
