BTC & ETH are pursuing a multilayer transaction system, but base layer transaction rate is slow & transaction cost is high. There is merit imo to Doge maximizing base layer transaction rate & minimizing transaction cost with exchanges acting as the de facto secondary layer.

How do you think he’s mostly right if you disagree with the fact that he’s saying doge fixes this, if you think doge doesn’t fix this? Wouldn’t that make him mostly wrong? Sounds like he’s just doing his normal shilling based on little to no facts.

eh he's making a few claims: 1) using a scalable L1 is good: I agree 2) DOGE is the scalable L1: disagree 3) exchanges are like L2s: meh it's a definitional issue, there are some similarities and some differences 4) making progress on scalability is good: I agree so 🤷idk

How are exchanges L2? I see them as just a Honeypot, yes you can “transact” between exchange users… but you’re still exposed by having a claim on a asset sitting in a honeypot. The ‘some differences’ are gaping.
