A few other thoughts: 1) this isn't always bad. If employees want to move on, they should. Ghosts aren't helpful. 2) think hard about whether you want to be remote. It gives flexibility, but makes communication way shittier. 3) don't hire for hiring's sake.

1/ There’s a lot of chatter on the #grandattrition, where companies are seeing unprecedented rates of employee turnover right now. You are not alone. A lot of drivers for this and thoughts on mitigation... @lightspeedvp

the main reason fooo will probably never start a VC or fund of some kind is that fooo really doesn't want to hire anyone lol watching some of fooo friends start funds or watch their bosses hire a shitload of people just to feel bigger pp is bad energy tbh

ya but if you hire lots of people and get a bigger office then you can fluff it up and get a higher IPO price. Lol no not suggesting this is good, but I think many companies do this to "grow" the companies "value."

This. You have to have an organizational structure to a business and then hire to feed that structure. If you just hire talented people but give them no direction or objectives to drive toward you have exactly what you just described
