10) Well this one we could still kinda sorta maybe achieve! But we're not.
Have you ever walked somewhere without a mask and when prompted said "I'm vaccinated'?
Trust me, it doesn't work. They still make you wear the mask.
Which is seriously fucked up.

12) (And, before you point out not everyone is vaccinated: at least in the states, most people who are planning to get vaccinated have already: twitter.com/NateSilver538/)

Somewhat worrying numbers on vaccine hesitancy from the new Axios/Ipsos poll.
56% of US adults say they've gotten at least one vaccine dose already—great!
But there aren't many Americans left who *haven't* gotten vaccinated but plan to do so. Just 14% fall into that category.

20) We're willing to permanently give up our livelihoods, friends, and freedom, slowly and passively falling into the "new normal", without really much of a second thought.
Policy keeps shifting under our feet, moving the goalposts further and further away.
"Meh", we respond.

21) As I write this, a police officer came up and pointed at my face.
"I'm vaccinated and just got 2 negative COVID tests", I said. I hold up my paperwork.
He pointed at my face again. Also, of course, he has a gun.

I'm absolutely gobsmacked how reliant people are on the government and who, without batting an eyelid, suggest that the people they labelled 'fascists' 1-2 years ago are the people who will do what is best for us...
Everyone is ok with it because we have endless cheap entertainment with Netflix, video games, etc...

here we have a rule to wear mask in the restaurant until you go to your table, then you can remove the mask.
same air same space.
you get up from your table and forget to put your mask on, people look at you funny or angry.

I do not respond "meh" I have been fighting hard against restrictions in my country but it seems like a never ending battle and the UK has the most arbitrary non sensical rules but people are easily manipulated when scared. After 1.5 years you think they would be asking questions

Also this book is very good. Looking at how the U.K. and behavioural psychologists weaponised fear to turn our nation into subservient, ask no questions citizens. It is very interesting.
