Every time you receive SPL token on a wallet, a "non-deterministic" address is generated and associated to your SOL address.
It's up to the wallet to collect those balances splitted on multiple addresses and craft 1 single tx.

Its especially brutal because those two separate transactions take so long to confirm and cost an egregious amount in transaction fees...

Phantom, sollet, math, solong 😆 but i like phantom the most. And Sollet is most widely accepted. To be honest,i like both!!
