Doesn’t this assume that the oxygen changes mortality from 100% to 0%? Can anyone find studies giving the actual effect size?

Here is how I got the numbers: twitter.com/technocrypto/s In short, no. I estimated a max reduction of 25% in mortality per week. The challenge with the data is that it is collected in non-crisis situations, so I am relying heavily on the estimation of the specific MD I consulted.

This was the conclusion of the MD I spoke to. He estimated that a week of oxygen would be a typical triage intervention if you were bottlenecked, and that up to half of patients would die (eventually) without it. So 4 adds room for ineffective triage.
