I wouldn’t mind a slower response 1-3 seconds if it ensured uptime.. not sure how heavy a hit this takes on server processing power, but not worth it if it leads future latency and issues with stability causing server crashes..

so it won't lead to any back-end issues -- the only worry is if it makes your browser lag, basically
FWIW doing things like removing animations can help with that (the gear icon)
Ok that’s good.. as long as it’s forcing the end user to use more processing power opposed to on the server side!
