I don't think this even needs to be checked. Serum is a great project but it would have to be way more adopted & used on a large scale even get close to "the entirety" of good old ETH . Maybe he meant TPS.

Are these organic transaction or manipulated? And even if they are does it matter? The fact that the throughput is that much higher and cheaper they could do large amounts of transactions for pennies. Basically proves his point then solana is techincally far supperior to eth.
