goes both ways tho, he doesn't believe retail were net sellers when data shows they were (slighlty)+ a ton of institutions were long. also wasn't willing to see the other side of his "just close the market" point.not being able to sell is just as bad when other brokers allow it

1) be better prepared 2) if not (1), immediately call up every large fund we know and pay whatever it takes for a line of credit until we can raise capital 3) if neither (1) nor (2), say "sorry, we fucked up; we should have been prepared, and will be next time"

Robinhood is "frictionless" most likely because a cash float is retro-actively behaving against derivatives. No commission and partial shares isn't the real stock market, so how did they make it work at all? That's why they had to stop. Use a real exchange.
