1) Really, really sorry about the messages in @blockfolio today.

We are incredibly sorry about the offensive messages posted today. 1: no funds/etc. were affected; this did not interact with any trading features. 2: we have revoked access to the compromised Signal submitter and removed the messages.

2) No trading features/funds/etc. were at risk. Those are part of a totally separate part of the system and are in line with FTX's standards. The affected portion was around display and news/Signal.

3) Over the next month I'll be leading a security review of the old, non-trading-related parts of Blockfolio to bring them in line with the standards set by trading, and by FTX more generally.

4) We're giving $10 to every trading in Blockfolio user, and the next ones who sign up this week. If any user was personally impacted by push notifications from the app, they will of course be included as well.

This is exactly how you handle a situation like this. Swiftly and without pointing the finger elsewhere. Credit where credit is due, mate. It's unfortunate that this happened, but well done on handling it the way you have.

How can you say it’s part of an older system not up to date with industry standards... but people (including me) can’t even access our accounts on @blockfolio ? We aren’t idiots... you’re talking to people who can put two and two together. Be transparent.

Signals is such a great program for development teams. We use it extensively to reach out to our community. Hope you can mitigate the risks to prevent incidents like today from reoccurring while maintaining the community interaction Signals provides dev teams. Good luck, Sam.
