2) I'm really excited with the growth that FTX has had over the past years--from a brand new startup to the fourth largest crypto exchange in the world. But in the end making money isn't what matters; it's what you do with it.

3) I originally got into crypto so that I could have positive impact on the world, donating what I make. And I'm proud to say that a number of our team members have donated tens of millions of dollars over the last few years to some of the world's most effective charities.

4) With our recent growth, though, it feel like it was time to do something more official. So we've created the FTX Foundation: donating 1% of all net fees to the charities where it can do the most good.

5) The site is pretty bare for now, but we'll be adding more: more information, more resources, more choices. And we'll involve y'all as well: expect something like ftx.com/vote as a way for you to help decide where we give.

6) For now, you can see a live-updating feed of how much money we've set aside together for charity. (And that's just the start--many of us will keep donating beyond that.)
