How do I place a stop market/limit for a short on FTX? I would think it would be buy > Stop market, but when I set it above the price it says it has to be below price cause it’s a stop.

I want the stop to buy. I’m currently short trying to place a buy stop above my short entry. Looking for the recommended way to do it
Example: I’m short from 1214.2
I want to place my buy stop at 1220

I am most likely confused. I just want a stop loss above my short lol. I’m hearing I need a sell stop instead of a buy stop

Hm it's working for me -- buy --> stop market --> set trigger price > current price
This is what I was doing but it was throwing an error saying it couldn’t be above price or entry. I’ll follow these steps and see if it replicates. Thank you for the quick response and assistance.
