Never got a solid answer to this question the last time I asked it - what purpose does a token burn serve outside of price manipulation? It just doesn’t make sense to me. Genuinely interested if there are any solid technical benefits.

I think there are some really solid tokens that do burns ( $FTT, $BNB for example), but I see there value more so derived from the platform / project. It’s always confused me why token burns were a necessary part outside of being used as a marketing tool.
