OK so my philosophy on "algorithmic stablecoins"
1) sometimes their market cap goes up, which is cool I guess
2) the whole notion of a "stablecoin" that isn't backed by something you're confident will retain most of its value makes no sense

Yeah I think we need to focus less on stablecoins (which are really pegs to an unstable US dollar) and focus more on dampened volatility tokens some sort of pseudo-stablecoin, cause the goal really is value protection and a common trade denominator

Agreed -- the problem isn't with algo coins; it's with trying to cap their upside at $1 and fit them into the wrong box
