FWIW I think we *haven't*. I think we've earned like $200b, but I think $1T -- while not unreasonable -- is overallocated to people who are here and underallocated to people who will build the things that grow out the space in the future.

I'm not sure about that. Since crypto is open source, most of the value will not flow to builders but hodlers of the winning protocol. Of course if you build a successful business around crypto that's different.
