on FTX, USD and USDC are the same thing -- so you can deposit any of USDC/TUSD/HUSD/BUSD/PAX/USDK/USD and you'll get credited with 'USD' which you can then withdraw any of them.

If by any chance value of USDT deflates in future, creating disruptions in other stablecoins. What happens to our USD value? Will it remain the same or fluctuate with the value of USDC etc?

As long as USDC is *redeemable* for $1, the market price doesn't matter for this purpose
Usdt is not in the usd basket took me way to long and Sam's clarification otherwise I couldn't withdraw lol
