some quick thoughts: 1) spot delistings are more straightforward 2) perps are...... a fucking mess 3) the 'right' answer is to say they cash expire with ~5 days' notice 4) the actual answer is often something wacky like 'LOL they expire in 30m to a limit down futures price'
